Kitchener is one of the loveliest cities in Southwestern Ontario. Its small town vibe and European heritage (its former name was Berlin until 1916!) makes Kitchener a thriving city. Visitors can find the chance to go back in time as they walk around villages of Kitchener; they can see people dressing up in costumes from the time. They can explore old buildings, watch the farm animals being fed and wander around the beautiful gardens. The Victoria Park, the oldest park in the city, can be a great place to spend a day. The park was designed by the same people that designed New York’s Central Park, complete with a lake and lovely gardens.
